The total number of signatures acquired on our petitions is 1,370. We are in the process of making flyers to announce our public forum. That is all we have to report as of this time.

We are planning on holding a public forum to educate people the importance of spaying and neutering pets. So far Terry Shelton has agreed to speak on behalf of our local government. Yesterday I went to Hartland Animal Clinic and spoke with Dr. Doyle. He has also agreed to speak. Further arrangements are being made in efforts to organize this forum. The importance of responsible pet ownership will also be addressed at this forum. The goal of this forum is to develop some type of Hart County Animal organization.

We have a total of 1,056 signatures on the petitions we have counted so far. This is a relatively good number considering the petitions were only up less than two weeks. We still have a few more petitions to collect. We will update the total as soon as the information is available to us.

Nothing major to report today. Our letter to the editor of the Hart County News Herald was published in last weeks edition. We are continuing to collect our petitions.
